Team Herbivores — second-year students Danivor Noronha, Aditya Batra and Aviral Sharma of MICA Ahmedabad’s postgraduate diploma course in Communications —emerged winners of L’Oréal Sustainability Challenge 2018. 

The theme of the competition was “Reduce, Re-use or Recycle” and involved proposing an idea to improve sustainability on campus. Team Herbivores pledged to reduce food wastage on campus and promote a healthy lifestyle for students by combining technology and sustainability. The other finalists were teams from ISB, TISS and MDI. All the finalists attended an activity-filled day at the headquarters of L’Oréal India where both the MD and HR head were present.
