New Delhi, March 6: Financial services major IDFC has decided to buy Natixis Global Asset Management's 25 per cent stake in IDFC Mutual Fund for over Rs 244 crore. The shares will be purchased through IDFC Financial Holding Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of IDFC.

New IIP base

New Delhi, March 6: The government may launch two macroeconomic indicators - the index of industrial production and the wholesale price index - with new base year 2011-12 by April-end to ensure compatibility with growth numbers.

Cairn advisers

New Delhi, March 6: Cairn India has appointed industry experts Melody Meyer and Atul Gupta as advisers to help achieve its aim of contributing 50 per cent to the country's overall crude production.

Mumbai, March 6: Auction of two plush properties of Vijay Mallya's defunct Kingfisher Airlines - Kingfisher House in this metropolis and Kingfisher Villa in Goa - proved to be a damp squib once again today with not a single bid coming in.
