Kahalgaon, July 31: Land oustees Punita Devi and Bibhash Kumar have filed a writ petition against the management of NTPC’s Kahalgaon unit at Patna High Court on July 23 against the latter’s alleged attempt to corner them. The court admitted the petition on July 27.

Bibhash said the agreement with the company allowed 15 land oustees, including himself, to provide light vehicles to the company on contract basis.

He accused NTPC of issuing a notice that deprived them on qualifying requirement of vendors for providing vehicles on hire to NTPC.
