Chhapra, Jan. 6: Jai Prakash University vice-chancellor R.P. Sharma was today furious over the absence of teachers in different postgraduate departments. He has decided to send a report against them to the human resource development department.

According to reports, he would soon pass an order to deduct their salary and take disciplinary action against them. The vice-chancellor today made a surprise visit to postgraduate departments, Rajendra college and Jai Prakash Mahila college and found many teachers absent.

He said: “Ninety-nine per cent teachers of postgraduate departments were not found in the class on time. It is shameful. Teachers passed a resolution to condemn me but themselves indulge in irresponsible activities. It means they have made the departments a place of gossip and intrigues.”
