Araria, March 23: Two people were arrested today in connection with demand of ransom of Rs 3 crore from family members of one N.K. Singhania, a businessman in Deoghar.

The arrested were identified as Saroj Singh from Alamgarh village and Kanhai Chowdhary of Ladma village. Both villages fall under Madhepura district.

They were arrested from Professor Colony of Forbesganj in Araria from the house of one Yoganand Singh.

Police seized a mobile phone, which was used in making calls for the ransom and a motorcycle from them.
