Event: Inaugural ceremony of school and a discussion on girl education

Special attraction: Principal Shahina Khan said the school had been inaugurated on the occasion of Bihar Divas with the motive to promote
education of girls. The education, according to the principal, would not be very expensive. Closed-circuit television cameras have already been installed
on the campus for safety of girls, while the school buses have been pre-fitted with global positioning system devices.

Event: Prize distribution ceremony
Duration: Thirty minutes
Special attraction: In the Vignan Visisht Chatra Puraskar ceremony, Ayush Anurag of Class XII won first prize worth Rs 50,000. Rohit Singh and Shivani Tanuja from the same class and stream were jointly awarded the second position. Mukul Kumar from Shanti Mission, Saharsa, and Mrinalini from DAV BSEB won consolation prizes. DAV principal Ramanuj Prasad and the director of Vignan
University, G.K. Rao, were also present on the occasion.
