Sawan has won a number of prizes. The 17-year-old youth’s oratory skills have made him popular among his peers.

Was won in Class VIII in a quiz competition held at St Paul’s High School in 2008. He won the first prize there. His first prize (apart from quizzing) was in a project work. In 2009, ASSET Pentathlon organised an inter-school competition, which Sawan and his classmate won.

State-level winner of RBIQ, a quiz organised by RBI in September at Loyola High School.

The top 10 finalists of Horlicks WizKids held at SK Memorial Hall in October.

An organisation, Gurucoool, in 2011 with his father to motivate youths to bring changes in the system and provide them a platform to showcase their talents.

For Sawan has been his father Satyajiv Jha, a businessman. His mother, Mamta Jha, a homemaker, too, always supports him.

For Sawan is author Chetan Bhagat.
