Patna, Dec. 13: Bihar Divas celebrations would get the musical touch from celebrated composers Shivkumar Sharma and Hari Prasad Chaurasia.

The two, famous as Shiv-Hari, would compose the songs and record them by the end of February 2012. Apart from composing songs for the occasion, the two would also perform at the event, education department officials told The Telegraph.

Recently, the education department chose a poem by city-based poet Satya Narayan to which the songs would be composed.

Apart from the famous composers, Bollywood stars could also make their presence felt during the centenary celebrations next year.

Ace filmmaker Prakash Jha, during a meeting with state education minister P.K. Shahi at his chamber today, said he would get Bollywood actors and singers during the centenary celebrations between March 22 and 24 next year.

Sources in the education department said during the meeting, Jha expressed his desire to arrange for a series of events featuring performances by Bollywood actors besides discussing about his documentary film on the state’s centenary.

Shahi said: “During today’s meeting with Jha, we discussed the places where he can shoot his documentary.”

He pointed out that further details would be discussed at the next meeting scheduled on December 19.
