Patna, Oct. 22: Ra.One mania has gripped the capital city even before it hits the screen on Diwali.

As ticket counters opened this morning at Cinepolis the lone multiplex theatre in the city, people rushed to the P&M Mall to book first-day-first-show tickets for the Bollywood’s most expensive film from the SRK stable. And within an hour, all tickets for the 9.30am show on October 26 were sold.

“Last Sunday, we gave Shah Rukh Khan a grand reception in Bangalore. He was scheduled to visit Patna, but could not make it because of time constraint. We had sent Rishav Sinha, one of our old patrons from Patna, to Bangalore for attending the special event,” Ashish Shukla, Cinepolis head of exhibition (India), told The Telegraph today.

Cinepolis (Patna) manager Abhishek Ranjan said 60 per cent shows of the film have been booked for the next week and tickets for all shows for the next five days are almost exhausted. He added: “We will screen 15 shows — of which 10 will be the 3D version.” Instead of Rs 210 for a 3D movie, a Ra.One ticket costs Rs 250. A ticket for a normal version will cost Rs 220 as against the usual Rs 180. .
