Patna, Jan. 4: The RJD leaders attacked the NDA government in the state today alleging that the crime graph is northbound and demanded the state government should take immediate steps to check it.

At a news meet in Patna, RJD leaders said the state government had completely failed to control law and order.

“It is a matter of concern that criminal incidents have increased at an alarming rate in Bihar. We are not here to take political advantage of these incidents but we want to ensure that every child in the state is safe. It is a matter of shame that Bihar is in the news for all wrong reasons. There have been 12-13 cases of abduction in Bihar in the past month and in lot of these cases, innocent children have been killed brutally. We condemn the government and police for their failure to save those lives,” said party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmad Khan.

Khan said that several kidnapping cases were reported in the state during the past 10 days but the police remained “mute spectator”.
