Patna, March 29: Virender Sehwag and several CBSE Class XII board examinees will take on their challenges tomorrow with the same goal in mind — score briskly.
The Nawaab of Najafgarh will try to crush the morale of Pakistan’s frontline bowlers from the word go. The students will strive to write their papers fast with accuracy to watch the semi-final game between India and Pakistan on TV from the first ball. The CBSE examinees will take informative practices/ computer science test tomorrow.
Satwik Krishnan of St Michael’s High School wants his timing to be spot-on while writing the informative practices paper. His exam will be over at 1.30pm. Wasting no time, he will head straight home, 45 minutes away.
If all goes well, he will be in front of the TV set before Mahendra Singh Dhoni & Co. take the field. But that is not good enough for Krishnan, an ardent cricket fan. He wants to watch the match from the toss.
“In order to watch each and every ball, I need to reach home earlier. I am preparing well for the paper so that I can write the paper well and finish it early tomorrow,” said Satwik. Abhinav Sinha of DPS, another CBSE Class XII student, is unhappy over the schedule of his computer science paper. Abhinav said: “I would have loved to take the exam a day in advance, on Tuesday. Why the hell the paper and the match are on the same day? It’ll take me a minimum of an hour to reach home from the exam centre. Even if I finish early, I won’t be allowed to leave the examination hall before 1.30pm.”
Abhinav is firm on not wasting a moment at the exam centre after submitting his answerscript. “I have prepared well for the paper so that I can finish it fast,” said Abhinav.
Kumar Pranav, another examinee, said: “My centre is far from my home. It will take me almost an hour-and-a-half to reach my place after the exam. The paper is important but the match also means a lot to me. I will try my best to strike a balance between the two.”
Get your timing right tomorrow, folks!
