MY TAKE
NATURE FUTURE
Environmentalists
tell us not to
pollute rivers
It harms fish.
We seldom care what they say,
We do what we wish
We cut trees to build houses,
To have the comforts of living in towns
and cities.
Environmentalists tell us to do the same,
But with fun
and simplicity.
Many children
go to the same
school in
different cars,
Not knowing it’s
burning up fuel,
It also emits
poisonous gases
We know a solution to it — using a carpool.
Knowing that these can lead to global warming
Conserving natural resources is the best,
We'll need it for the next generation
That would be our biggest test.

BEING HUMAN
Why are humans
always killers?
Why not saviours?
Why must humans
be owners?
Why not partners?
Why are they always the culprit?
Can’t they
be innocent?
I want to be an ant.
A true labourer
and a
social animal.
I’m shocked we
have lost everything we need.
My earth is
completely deserted. With the approaching coldness
Is there anything
to be proud of
being human?
