Jaipur-Atrauli gharana artiste Saniya Patankar performs at Yaadein, a concert organised by the Navras School of Performing Arts in Patna at the planetarium on Sunday. The concert was a tribute to Jaipur-Atrauli gharana vocalist Kishori Amonkar and celebration of the 100 years of the Maihar band formed by legendary sarod player Baba Allauddin Khan. Classical singer Gajendra Narayan Singh and social activist Sandeep Bhutoria started the evening by focusing on Amonkar and her music. Saniya Patankar performed a composition in raga Bageshree popularised by Amonkar, followed by a raga Bhoop composition.
