Guard shot dead

Muzaffarpur: A private security guard of National Litchi Research Centre, Mushahri was killed and two persons suffered bullet injuries when four criminals sprayed bullets at the administrative building of the institute on Tuesday. he criminals indulged in indiscriminate firing at 2.30pm in full view of the public. Senior superintendent of police, Muzaffarpur, Rajesh Kumar said a night guard of a private security agency employed with the centre, Ritesh Kumar was shot dead.

Stay order

Patna: Patna High Court on Tuesday stayed the admissions to the postgraduate courses of Katihar Medical College and Hospital and MG Medical College and Hospital, Kishanganj till May 16, the next date of hearing.
