Science award SSB chief visit Awareness Healthcare

Gaya: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre-based Indian Thermal Analysis Society has formed a National Award commission under the chairmanship of Magadh University chemistry professor Ranjit Kumar Verma. On Sunday, he said the commission should select the best thesis on thermal analysis submitted by PhD holders from different universities across the country.

SSB chief visit

Patna: The director-general of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Arun Chaudhary, arrived in Patna on Sunday to assess the deployment of different battalions of the force to guard the porous border with Nepal. He would hold a meeting with the officials of the SSB at the sector headquarters in Muzaffarpur and visit Supaul where a proposed training centre of the force is to be set up.

Patna: NGO Janani organised a programme on Sunday to give free consultation about family planning to married women.

Healthcare

Patna: Health minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey on Sunday inaugurated Aastha Lok Hospital in Kankerbagh. A source said patients would free consultation services on Sundays as well.
