Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday addressed around 2,000 students on the foundation day of JD(U)’s Chhatra Samagam at SK Memorial Hall. ddressing the gathering, Nitish said their struggle would continue if the special category status is not given to Bihar. He added that Bihar’s model of development is different from other states. Patna: Contract teachers would organise protest programmes across the state on September 5 — Teachers’ Day. A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of Niyojit Sikshak Nyaya Morcha, an umbrella body of contract teachers.Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday reviewed the concept plan of an upcoming agriculture college in Kishanganj district. Nitish directed the officials to protect the proposed campus of the college by constructing embankments. Patna: The Bihar unit of the Congress has appointed district co-ordinators to make people aware of the funds being provided by the Centre under different heads and also about the food security bill.
