Rescue

Patna: The Nepal government on Monday awarded letters of appreciation to the Valmiki Tiger Reserve and its officials, including divisional forest officer Amit Kumar, in Kathmandu. The letters expressed gratitude for the officials' contribution in rescuing and returning eight of the endangered one-horned rhinos, swept away from the Chitwan National Park in the flash floods of August, from West Champaran district.
