| Acharya Kishore Kunal, the chairman of Bihar State Religious Trust Board, inaugurates Srinivas Hospital at Kankerbagh in Patna on Monday with Dr Jitendra Kumar Singh, director, Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre, by his side. Free consultation to mothers and newborn babies will be one of the attractions at the hospital. “The free consultation can be availed for a meagre registration fee of Rs 20,” said Dr Rakesh Kumar, the director of Srinivas Hospital. The hospital has a delivery room, a neonatal intensive care unit, a modern pathology lab among other facilities and the hospital’s director promised special care to mothers and babies. The outdoor patient department will be available to all the departments in the hospital, including ENT and orthopaedic. The hospital has three operating theatres to deal with as many cases simultaneously. Vaccination facilities for children are also available at the hospital,” he added.
