Muzaffarpur, March 7: Traders in Sonarpatti, Nai Bazaar, Purani Bazaar and Gola Road areas downed shutters today to protest the murder of confectionery shop owner Ujjawal Bhardwaj (22) in Nai Bazaar yesterday.

Residents got into a verbal altercation with the policemen, protesting their failure to contain crime against the community.

A manhunt is on for Prakash and four others, whose names the deceased disclosed before dying.
