The Veer Kunwar Singh statue at R-Block in Patna on Sunday, the birth anniversary of the man who led the First War for India's Independence in 1857 in Bihar. The statue used to be garlanded every year by state government officials during the birth anniversary. The Veer Kunwar Singh statue at R-Block in Patna on Sunday, the birth anniversary of the man who led the First War for India's Independence in 1857 in Bihar. The statue used to be garlanded every year by state government officials during the birth anniversary. However, this year it was bereft of any such adornment though a state event was organised at SK Memorial Hall Patna. The RJD celebrated the occasion at its office in the presence of party state unit president Ram Chandra Purbey. Members paid floral tributes too.
