Litchi farmers may reap more profits this year with a marketing team from National Horticulture Board, New Delhi, visiting Muzaffarpur to explore the possibilities of selling their products overseas.

Principal scientist of National Research Centre for Litchi, Mushahri, Rajesh Kumar said: “This year, there is huge production of shahi litchi owing to the adoption of scientific method on a large scale. The quality has also improved as the temperature was not very high.”

The team from New Delhi will suggest ways for sending more consignment.
