Handy expert advice for students taking the CBSE Plus Two examination this year has brought some peace of mind for board aspirants.

Patliputra Sahodaya, a group of CBSE schools in Bihar, has launched a service using which students can get their doubts cleared on their mobile phones.

The Sahodaya has roped in services of subject teachers for clearing the doubts of students. A large number of students are making queries using the facility being offered by the Sahodaya.

To meet the demands of students, the organisation has decided to make a prestigious panel of principals and postgraduate teachers (P4).

The panel would answer the queries of the students through telecounselling so that they could be briefed about their doubts in advance and could perform well in the board.

C.B. Singh, the secretary of Patliputra Sahodaya, said: 'We are getting a good response. Till now we have 35 teachers and some principals from reputable schools to answer the queries of the students. But we are planning to increase the number of experts given the high number of queries coming to us.'?

Apart from Patna, similar expert panels would be set up in the districts to address the queries of the students.

Aman Kumar, a student of Tribhuvan School, appeared satisfied after getting tips from the experts who called him back when he sent a text message to the Patliputra Sahodaya number 9229224424 with a doubt.

'My teachers and friends had suggested various reference books for clearing my doubt leaving me confused but after getting the tips of the Sahodaya experts, I zeroed in on one reference book and things have become easier for me now,' he said.

Shivan Singh of St Karen's High School, who had doubts in physics, echoed Aman. 'Their suggestions cleared all my doubts and now I am more relaxed while preparing for the board examination,' she said.

Even parents appreciated the move. 'My daughter had doubts in physics and chemistry and I was unable to address all of them. I took help of the Sahodaya initiative and it turned out to be very fruitful,' said Pradeep Kumar, a resident of SP Verma Road, who is also a teacher.
