Patna, Nov. 6: Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan crooned to Khaike paan banaras wala, sharing stage with the Big B. The platform, however, was not a film shoot but on an episode of KBC VIII.

Kishan, while shooting for his next Bhojpuri film Pandit ji batai na biyah kab hoi II in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, told The Telegraph: “One day prior to the shoot on October 26, I was excited because sharing the stage with Big B was something extraordinary.”

The show would be telecast on November 13. “When I went on the stage and was standing in front of Bachchan saheb, I went speechless. Though I am a star, meeting Bachchan Sir is something different and for anyone, it would be an achievement,” said Ravi.

He not only sang from the film Don, he also deli- vered a dialogue from Namak Halal.

He said: “Later, everything became normal and we shared lots on the stage from singing Khaike paan banaras wala to delivering the dialogue E lo kar lo baat. Are aisi angrezi ave hain ke I can leave angrez behind. I can talk English, I can walk English, I can laugh English, because English is a funny language. Bhairo becomes Baron and Baron becomes Bhairo because their minds are very narrow. It was really a glorious moment of life and I will never forget it. He appreciated me a lot.”

Ravi also promoted his team Rowdy Bangalore, a team of Box Cricket League (BCL), a reality game show in which the television actors battle it out in an indoor set.
