Patna, Aug. 2: A teenaged girl missing since last evening is suspected to have been kidnapped. An FIR has been lodged today in this connection at Kankerbagh police station after her uncle received a ransom call.

Chandmari Road resident Vidya (13) used to live with her uncle Bhaskar’s family. She had gone out to buy a few things from a shop in the neighbourhood yesterday afternoon. When she did not return for long, her relatives started searching for her. But she could not be traced. Around 1am, Bhaskar got an anonymous call demanding Rs 5 lakh as ransom. Vidya’s father lives in Dhanbad.
