Patna: The JDU on Wednesday released the list of 20 star campaigners for the Karnataka Assembly polls scheduled next month. Chief minister Nitish Kumar, also the JDU national president, tops the list.

JDU secretary Afaque Ahmad Khan released the list from New Delhi. The party is contesting 34 seats in the state.

Among the other star campaigners are Bihar unit chief Bashishtha Narayan Singh, secretary general K.C. Tyagi, Rajya Sabha member RCP Singh, general secretary Sanjay Kumar Jha, spokesperson Ajay Alok, building construction minister Maheshwar Hazari, MLC Shyam Rajak, Karnataka JDU president Mahima J. Patel and Ashok Choudhary.
