Patna, Dec. 9: The principal in-charge of SANM College, Motihari, Awadesh Kumar Singh, was today awarded a six-month rigorous imprisonment by judicial magistrate Akanksha Kashyap on charge of stealing an official document from the Bihar Intermediate Council office.

Singh had stolen a file related to late fines from the table of deputy secretary- rank officer Bachchu Rajvanshi.

A case had been registered at Kotwali police station by former secretary of Bihar Intermediate Education Council Mathura Choudhary in December, 2002.
