| Bengali academics, businessmen, students, artistes and doctors, who were felicitated by Bengalee Association, Bihar, at Ram Mohun Roy Seminary School on Monday. More than 200 people turned up at the concluding day of the organisation’s 75th foundation day celebrations. Gautam Chakraborty, an executive member of Bengalee Association, Bihar, said: “Two physicians — Samastipur-based Supriyo Mukherjee and Patna-based Shaibal Guha — were felicitated on Monday. Nirmalya Roy, the assistant income tax commissioner of Bihar and Jharkhand, Ajit Ganguli, a theatre personality, academics Sukriti Saha and Brojen Guha and 20 students, who have excelled in different examinations and fine arts, were also honoured.” On Monday, a play was performed by Natyarupa, a theatre group from Chittaranjan in Bengal’s Burdwan district and a fashion show was organised for children.
