Foreign tourists for Rath Yatra

Krishna devotees from London, Russia and South Africa are expected join the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) state chapter's Rath Yatra Mahotsav in Patna on June 25.

Krishna devotees from London, Russia and South Africa are expected join the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) state chapter's Rath Yatra Mahotsav in Patna on June 25.

Devotees from Vrindavan, Mumbai and Delhi and few other places in India will also join the Rath Yatra.

"We have booked hotels to accommodate around 250 Krishna followers scheduled to come here for the Rath Yatra from foreign countries and various states," said Iskcon state chapter spokesperson Nand Gopal Das, adding that the Rath Yatra will start from the Iskcon temple on Buddha Marg at 2pm and thousands of devotees will pull the chariot through major roads of Patna

"The Almighty comes to the doorstep aboard the rath and blesses devotees during the festival," he said.
