Patna, Feb. 15: Women entrepreneurs would sell dress materials from Karachi, Bhagalpur silk saris, Madhubani paintings, Sigori handicraft, Muzaffarpur lac bangles and other items at a five-day fair on the ground in front of DAV BSEB School from Thursday.

Industries minister Renu Kumari Kushwaha will inaugurate the fair while tourism minister Sunil Kumar ‘Pintu’ will be the chief guest on the occasion. Anukampa Rai, chairperson, Mahila Kalyan Sangathan, Bihar State Electricity Board, said: “The fair will be organised by Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh for which we have provided the venue. Around 200 stalls will be put up in this fair. Women entrepreneurs from across the country will take part in the fair. We will put up nine stalls,” she said.
