Passionate about food and cricket? Head to LBW (Lounge Before Wicket), the newly opened grub destination.

The cricket-themed restaurant is located in Urja Stadium at BSEB Colony, Rajbanshi Nagar, which has a facility of hosting day-night matches. The restaurant started operations from October 5.

LBW is divided into four sections, Test, ODI's, Twenty20 and Pavilion lounge with each having its own charm.

The owner of LBW, Aakash Deep Singh, said: 'The Test section is air-conditioned from where you can watch the live match. ODI's ceiling is made of glass. Twenty20 is located in the garden area and Pavilion Lounge is an exclusive lounge where one can get a complete view of the ground.'

One has to pay a premium of Rs 1,000 for booking a table at Pavilion Lounge apart from the amount spent on food. The Pavilion Lounge is just next to the boundary rope where chairs have been put up.

At places where there is no air-conditioning, sprinkler fans have been put up across the restaurant.

The menu starts with Pitch Report under which different kind of soups are served, next is Green Field in which different salads are offered. After this there is Let's Toss in which different appetisers (vegetarian and non vegetarian tandoor items) are available.

In the Behind the Wicket section of the menu, Chinese dishes are served followed by Time Out in which continental dishes are provided. On the menu, there is also Howzatt where Indian curry items are available. There is Doosra in which mushroom chilly and cottage cheese items are served on the platter. 'LBW has a seating capacity of 100 people and one can have a complete meal, from soups to the main course within Rs 500. We offer valet parking and to deal with any awkward situation we have our own bouncers. It is the most happening place to chill out,' Singh added.

LBW has been launched under the banner of Sarvodaya Foods, a private business firm.
