| St Xavier’s College students work on a rangoli on the institute campus in Patna. A four-day orientation programme, organised for first-year students of BA, BSC, bachelor of computer applications and bachelor of business administration, came to an end on Thursday with a rangoli competition, group dance competition and a cultural show. In a message, principal Father TN Nishaant said: “St Xavier’s College not only aims at academic excellence but also lays stress on development of the personality of each student. We want each Xaverian to become a responsible citizen of the country who would contribute to the betterment of society.” In the group dance competition, Chandni Sinha and group clinched the first position. VS Rohan and group and Heena and group came second and third, respectively. “The seniors helped us a lot during rehearsals.
