Patna, Aug. 1: A fashion show was organised by a private company for its dealers on Sunday. Over a dozen models walked the ramp to display costumes launched by the company.
Most of the models, who walked the ramp were from Patna. The event was inaugurated by Jammu & Kashmir Bank’s chief manager Ashok Kumar Sopari. The collection displayed by the company included denim and formal trousers, and designer shirts.
The company claimed that its sales in Bihar rose by 40 per cent and the reasonable prices of its products were making the average income group go for the latest trends.
All the latest products of the company were shown to the distributors and customers. A few dealers were awarded for their humongous sales in Bihar during the financial year 2009-10.
People also enjoyed the musical programme, which was arranged by Manmeet Singh Albela and group. Sopari praised the company for organising a fashion show of this stature. He said this trend was relatively new in Bihar.
The event was organised at the Bihar Industries Association. It started with hit numbers from films like Amar Akbar Anthony. Songs of Kishore Kumar and Mohammad Rafi were a major draw. Sopari said that such events give a platform to new talents.
