Patna: Harsh Raj Lucky, a Class IV student of city's Trinity Global School, is among the top 16 finalists of the acting reality show India's Best Dramebaaz. Harsh, whose father Rampravesh Kumar is into telecom business and mother Sangita Pravesh a housewife, is now camping in Mumbai where rehearsals for the reality show are taking place.
All the 16 top finalists have been provided accommodation along with their parents by the reality show people in Mumbai.
Harsh's mother Sangita Pravesh told The Telegraph over phone from Mumbai that she realised her eight-year-old son could act when he was just one-year old. "He started walking when he was 11 months old and was able to catch most words by the time he turned 1," Sangita said. "Now, at the age of eight, you just need to see him as he stands in front of a mirror and delivers dialogues from the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Shahenshah. Also, don't miss him copying actor Shahrukh Khan's signature style of stretching out his arms in the air."
Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan helped hone Harsh's acting skills. "Initially, I had enrolled Harsh into Kilkari's summer camp. Once I found he had many inherent skills, I enrolled him for regular classes there," Sangita said.
The first episode of Harsh's show was telecast on June 30 and now shooting is on for the next episodes. "Tiger Shroff is my favourite actor. I like to imitate his stunts though I am still trying to perfect it," Harsh said. "Actually, I like to imitate anybody in front of ,me, including my mom and dad. They are my biggest support and critics. He said he was fond of both Sonali Bendre and Vivek Oberoi who were judges in the reality show.
"As many as eight children from Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan were selected for the final audition round of the popular television reality show India's Best Dramebaaz, but Harsh Raj Lucky made it to the top final," said Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan's programme officer Anita Thakur. "We are really proud of him. Khushbu and Kartikey Raj from Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan had appeared in the earlier seasons of the reality show. Kartikey later went on to grab a role in Kapil Sharma's show."
Harsh's mother Sangita said: "I saw Harsh first time on television on June 30. He was very charming on TV. He played the role of a victimised husband. I pray to the almighty for his success."
