Patna: Just log on to Amazon India from your mobile or computer to buy Madhubani and Manjusha paintings, Patna Kalam, Tikuli art, stone and wood carvings, bamboo and cane products, metal craft, paintings, terracotta and ceramics from Bihar.

The online retail giant on Tuesday announced the launch of Upendra Maharathi Shilp Anusandhan Sansthan (UMSAS) products on its marketplace. UMSAS is an apex body for handicraft in Bihar and was established in 1952 by the department of industries. The pioneer initiative aims to preserve, research and promote various forms of handicraft from across the state.

Through this alliance, handicraft by Bihar craftsmen associated with UMSAS will now be available to millions of Amazon customers across India.
