Rajak barb over Kashmir
Patna, March 26: JDU deputy leader in the Assembly and former minister Shyam Rajak today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the BJP forming a government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajak accused the BJP of striking a secret deal with the PDP and added that the people of Kashmir were always at the receiving end as far as facing problems during government formation were concerned.
Slur on Nitish
Patna: CPI-ML (Liberation) state secretary Kunal on Saturday accused chief minister Nitish Kumar of supporting corporates while protesting the murder of two of their activists, Mahesh Ram and Ram Parvesh Ram.
Criticism
Patna: JDU spokesperson Naval Sharma on Saturday called the BJP state unit's recent brush with "patriotism" an eyewash.
Opening delay
Patna: Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) public relations officer Parvej Ahmad Khan on Saturday said the opening of a new child specialty unit, kidney transplantation unit and an auditorium could not take place as scheduled because the chief minister was busy and health minister Tej Pratap was indisposed.
Meeting
Patna: The BJP state working committee's two-day meeting will begin at 5pm at 1 Polo Road on March 27. BJP state unit president Mangal Pandey will chair the meeting, while its general secretary, Bhupender Yadav, will inaugurate the meeting. Five Union ministers, Radha Mohan Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Giriraj Singh and Ram Kripal Yadav will take part in the meeting apart from Sushil Kumar Modi and Nand Kishore Yadav.

Munger: Shops and business establishments were shut in Gulzarpokhar market in the town on Saturday following tension in the area on Friday.
