Police nab rape accused

Patna: A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 13-year-old boy at Anandpuri locality on Wednesday.

The incident took place at around 10.30am, the police said. The accused has been arrested. The boy had lured the girl into his house and sexually assaulted her.

Train halt

Patna: East Central Railway on Wednesday decided to make halts for 20 pairs of trains at Patna Sahib railway station amid celebration of the 349th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh. The special 2-minute halt would be provided for the convenience of the Sikh devotees from January 1 to January 22.

Time change

Patna: East Central Railway on Wednesday changed the timings of the train running between R-Block and Digha and passing through Bailey Road. It will start at 11:30 am.

Protest

Patna: Members of Aam Aadmi Party will stage a protest on December 26, demanding resignation of Union finance minister Arun Jaitley.

Ashok plea

Darbhanga: Education minister Ashok Choudhary on Wednesday urged teachers to work hard to improve the quality of education in the state. He expressed concern over Bihar's low rank in terms of quality of education.

One injured

Nawada (PTI): A woman constable was injured after she accidentally shot herself on Wednesday with her service rifle at the Nawada police lines. She was cleaning her rifle when the trigger went off accidentally. The injured was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
