BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday trashed reports that the RJD was gaining in a big way in the elections and took a jibe at some media organisations for stoking caste politics.

The Bihar BJP in-charge said: “Some media organisations have been talking about the M-Y (Muslim-Yadav) factor giving scope to the RJD but the people have come out of caste-based politics. When the results come out on May 16, all such alliances will be proved wrong.” The statement of Pradhan, a BJP general secretary, assumes importance, as a senior BJP leader has attacked the media for the first time.
