Teen deposes in court

Patna: A teenaged girl on Monday recorded her statement under Section 164 of CrPC before judicial magistrate Rashmi Prasad in an abduction case.

The girl’s mother had lodged an FIR against one Dharmendra Pratap Singh (38) and his brother Jitendra Singh with Patliputra police station on May 2, 2013, accusing them of abducting her daughter. The girl said in her statement that she went to Faridabad with Dharmendra on April 13, 2013 and no one had kidnapped her.
