The new entertainment zone of Howrah came up only with the advent of the new malls in town. The PVR Cinemas came to Howrah when the largest format retail mall in eastern India, Avani Riverside, came up in Kazipara in November 2011. The Inox came to Howrah even earlier when the RD Mall opened in Liluah.

Ticket prices: A minimum of Rs 60 for any Bengali film and Rs 100 for any Hindi film screened before 12 noon. Prime seats are priced for Rs 225 and normal seats for Rs 200

Ticket counter: Opens 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the morning show and closes 15 minutes after the start of the last show. Advance booking starts two days prior to a show. Online booking of tickets can be done through the website www.pvrcinemas.com.

Car park: Rs 10 per hour for bikes, Rs 15 per hour for four-wheelers on weekdays, Rs 20 per hour for four wheelers on weekends

Bites and sips: Affordable vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks like burgers, momos, sandwiches, nachos, hotdogs and soft drinks are available at the in-house snacks counter. On-seat service is provided by those at the food counter.

The auditoriums have the latest 7.1 Dolby digital sound system. The last two rows in each auditorium are prime seats with reclining features.
