PM Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated projects and laid foundation stones for nine projects worth more than Rs. 7,000 crores at Hooghly’s Arambagh.

“I am confident the people of Bengal will join us in achieving our objective of Vikasit Bharat by 2047,” Modi said at a government event. “When one infrastructure project is launched in one state, a number of opportunities open up for the residents.

Among the projects that Modi unveiled and laid the foundation stone for including railway, petroleum, port and waterworks.

“I have a lot more to say, which I will from the other stage,” Modi said before leaving for the stage for Vijay sankalp rally organized by the BJP.
