Gangtok, Nov. 28: Playwin Infravest, organisers of Playwin Super Lotto, has decided to shift the dates of the thunderball jackpot draw. The draw for the second on-line game will be held on Tuesdays instead of Mondays.

The change in timings was cleared by the state Cabinet yesterday. With sales plummeting, the Lotto organisers have decided to raise the jackpot amount from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 75 lakh to draw more people.

Playwin has another lottery drawn every Thursday, the prize money of which is Rs 1 crore. If the jackpot is not won, the money is carried forward to the next draw. Drop in sales had forced Playwin to split the prize money and introduce the Thunderball game.

The original prize money allotted for the Super Lotto draw was Rs 2 crore, later brought down to half the amount, after the introduction of the Thunderball game in July. The results of both are announced online on Zee TV.
