AJC Bose Road: Discussions and exhibitions of the latest in marketing and how to brand and sell yourself better will be part of Marketing Expo 2018, partnered by the The Telegraph, to be held on Saturday.
The daylong event at Hotel Hindustan International will include seminars, which will touch on topics in modern marketing, and more than 50 stalls, which will showcase the latest innovations in products and technologies.
Level 9, a marketing company, and Tabula Rasa, a brand consultant, are organising the event.
"People think marketing is about giving an ad or putting up a hoarding or at the most people selling their products on the field. But now there are many new concepts and we are trying to bring them all together," said Navdha Taparia, one of the organisers of the event.
"There is a huge lack of awareness among business owners and the marketing fraternity and the idea is to tell them that there are more effective ways of reaching your customer."
The organisers said they had worked for four months, researching on new concepts and handpicking exhibitors so as not to dilute the nature of the expo. The discussions will be on "marketing to millennial", online PR, blogging and digital innovative marketing. among other topics.
On display will be new-age screens for advertising, new signage ideas, print and packaging solutions and WhatsApp marketing technologies.
"There are several creative brands and agencies in the city that many are not aware of and the expo will bring them under one roof," said Suraj Juneja, the founder of Level 9.
