Mmembers and their guests at DI club sure knew how to dance their way into the new year during Sterling Reserve Packaged Drinking Water Presents The Telegraph Dalhousie Institute 31st Nite In Association with David & Goliath. The revellers gathered on the dance floor and jived the night away as local band Blue Mist belted out some peppy tunes. Starting their song list with hits from the ’80s and ’90s, the band performed songs like You’re The One That I Want and I Will Survive and later made their way to more recent numbers like Can’t Stop This Feeling and Senorita. Snapshots.

Coupled: We loved how Renelle Snelleksz and Kripan Chowdhary rocked the dance floor with so much sass. “This was the first time we were attending Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties as a married couple. We got married in December 2017 but we couldn’t come to the city around Christmas time last year. It was special for me to reconnect with everyone,” said the dance movement therapist.

Spotted in the revelry was Bridgette Jones and her husband Ronald. “Our New Year is incomplete without DI. There’s always that element of surprise about who you are going to meet or bump into and that adds to the excitement. And I just get so much energy out of nowhere. I work hard, I party harder and 2020 is going to be a good year,” said Bridgette.
