Police have apparently come across two students of the National University of Juridical Sciences who said they had seen Vikas Chaudhary fall off the railing of the third-floor balcony of the institute's boys' hostel on Holi afternoon.

'Two students of the institution told us they were celebrating Holi on the courtyard of the hostel with more than 100 others when they saw Vikas fall off the third-floor railing,' said an officer of the Bidhannagar commissionerate.
'The students said they had no idea whether Vikas fell accidentally or was pushed off the balcony.'
The investigators on Tuesday spoke to six other students, who apparently corroborated the statements of five students that the 19-year-old was seen sitting on the third-floor railing.
The police said they would examine more students to ascertain the reason behind Vikas's fall.
The police started a 'full-fledged' probe into the death of the teenager after his father Yogendra Singh, a BSF officer from Delhi, lodged a complaint with Bidhannagar (South) police station alleging that his son had been brutally murdered.
Singh also mentioned in his complaint that his son had been 'depressed' and 'afraid of his seniors'.
The police, however, are yet to come across any link between ragging and Vikas's death.
The sleuths had on Monday separately recorded the statements of five students, who said they had seen Vikas, smeared in colour, climbing the 4.5ft-high railing of the third-floor balcony.
'So far no one has come forward with a statement contradicting those made by others. We need to examine more students to find out what was the reason behind the student's fall,' said a police officer.
