Bhubaneswar, June 3: One of the most loved pairs of the Oriya film industry — Archita and Sabyasachi — will be soon back on screen to win over film lovers.

The duo will be seen in Chakradhar Sahu’s new venture Kebe Tame Naahan Kebe Mun Naahin, that is in the last stage of post-production.

After being seen in well-known films such as, Mun Sapanara Saudagara, Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora, Keun Duniyaru Asila Bandhu and recently in Tora Mora Jodi Sundar, both actors are excited to be working in the big project.

“Working with Chakradhar Sahu is a special experience since his entire technique of filmmaking reflects on his FTII background,” says Archita. “There was a lot to learn from him on the set and the crew, most of whom are veterans in their respective departments hailing from the FTII,” she said.

Sabyasachi, who is playing the protagonist of the film, says he has his fingers crossed.

“The on-screen chemistry between Archita and me has always been well-appreciated by the audience. Moreover, she is such a talented actor,” he said.

Kebe Tame Naahan Kebe Mun Naahin has an innovative script and is made with a new technique. I believe it will be loved by the viewers,” said Sabyasachi.

The departments of story, editing, direction and production have been taken care of by Sahu. Well-known sound designer Subhash Sahoo, who has won National awards for his work in Omkara and Kaminey, has been roped in for the film. Similarly, FTII products Ranjan Das (screenplay), Prasantanu Mohapatra (cinematography) and sound mixer Biswadeep Chatterjee (who worked in 3 Idiots, Devdas, the Munnabhai series, Parineeta) are also working on the project.

With the technical aspect being handled by experts, the film would make an impact on the viewers, said Sahu.

“Experts from all technical departments have worked on the project. I’m sure it will have a good response. Moreover, the film is a romantic thriller. The story is set in Bhubaneswar and is based on the lifestyle of the city,” he said.

The film, shot in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, is based on the bond between two unknown people who end up risking their lives for each other. Moreover, aspects of friendship, family and Oriya roots would also be depicted, said Sahu.

The film includes well-known names such as, Manoj Mishra, Ajit Das, Bina Moharana, and so on. The music has been composed by Bikash Das while lyricsists Arun Mantry, Mohit Chakraborty, Nirmal Nayak, Jatindra Pradhan, Sujit Parija have penned the songs.

Singers Udit Narayan, Shaan, Shail Hada, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Pamela Jain have sung the film songs.
