The army’s Red Horns Division organised a seminar on contemporary issues in lower Assam to refine overall approach to counter-insurgency operations at Rangiya in Kamrup district on Wednesday. The seminar was attended by senior civil servants, top ranking police officials, intellectuals and army officers.

Assamese scientist and educationist, Anil Kumar Goswami will be felicitated during the programme for his various contributions.
Bru voters Aizawl
(PTI): A meeting of major NGOs urged the Centre and the state governments of Mizoram and Tripura to ensure that all the inmates of the Bru relief camps in Tripura return to Mizoram by the end of February. The NGOs would take steps to ensure that those who refuse to return to Mizoram after February were deleted from the Mizoram voter lists.
