Khatal plan Directive Condolence Inspection Launch Induction

Patna, Aug. 4: The district administration today submitted an action plan in the high court to remove khatals (cowsheds) from the public places in all the four circles of the Patna Municipal Corporation. he state counsel informed the court that a drive to remove khatals from the city area will start from Tuesday in phases.

Directive

Patna: The high court on Monday directed the general managers of BSNL and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd and the Ara municipal commissioner to appear in person in a case related to removing encroachments from all the major roads of Ara town.

Condolence

Patna: A condolence meeting was held at Raj Bhavan on Monday in the memory of Pushplata D., Patil, the wife of governor D.Y. Patil.

Inspection

Patna: Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday conducted a surprise inspection at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science and met with the patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and their attendants.

Launch

Patna: Madhuresh Kumar, the ECR general manager, on Monday inaugurated an LED equipped water fountain at the railways headquarters in Hajipur. Kumar said around Rs 10 lakh was spent on the facility.

Patna: Patna Medical College organised an induction programme for its new MBBS batch on Monday.
