Calcutta: Kingfisher East Bengal’s Nigerian defender Uga Okpara lost his cool after his team’s 0-1 loss to Prayag United, at the Salt Lake Stadium, on Sunday. And his target was Prayag United’s Bello Rassaq, another Nigerian.

Okpara, who should be blamed for the goal East Bengal conceded, was having those “chit chats” with Bello throughout the match.

And it reached a flashpoint when Bello’s elbow inadvertently found Okpara’s face during a East Bengal corner at the fag end of the match.

“Things calmed down after players of both the teams intervened. So I do not know why Uga reacted like that after the match,” Bello’s partner in the defence Gouramangi Singh said.
