Jockeys A. Sandesh and Trevor Patel notched up a treble apiece, in Sunday's eight-event card. Their tally of winners included Dancing Prances and Your Royal Majesty, the two favourites who dead-heated in the afternoon's feature, the 1,400m R.M. Rukmani Goculdas Million.
Incidentally, four horses were involved in a blanket-finish but the digital camera failed to separate trainers Pesi Shroff's 14-10 favourite, Your Royal Majesty, and Altaf Hussain's Dancing Prances, who was next in demand.

ONLY 20 OUTSTATION HORSES ALLOWED
Calcutta: RCTC have decided to permit ownersrainers to bring 20 outstation horses in the age group of 4 or 5 year olds and Rated 61 & above for the season 2015-2016, according to a notification, on Sunday.
However, no owner or trainer will be permitted to bring and stable more than one such horse to race under the rules of the RCTC. The last date of entry of such horses will be October 15, 2015 or earlier, should the desired number of 20 be attained.
A prior approval from the racing department needs to be obtained before bringing the such horses. Further, horses already in the city to participate in sweepstakes races, may avail the offer to race in the handicap races under the RCTC Rules of Racing, the notice adds.
