Jayojit Basu scored 109, while Arindam Ghosh scored an unbeaten 64 as Mohun Bagan defeated Bhowanipore Club by seven wickets in a P. Sen Trophy match at the Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus ground on Friday.
Batting first, Bhowanipore put up an imposing 294 for nine with Writtick Chatterjee (62) being the top scorer. Sourashish Lahiri, too, made a handsome contribution with 58 runs, while Jayojit Jaiswal chipped in with 53. For Bagan, Paresh took three wickets, conceding 71 runs.
